  OroandArbuthnotTravelbyNightAstimewenton,Orobegantovisitmemoreandmorefrequently,tillatlastscarcelyanightwentbythathedidnotappearmysteriouslyinmysleeping—place。TheoddthingwasthatneitherBickleynorBastinseemedtobeawareofthesenocturnalcalls。Indeed,whenImentionedthemononeortwooccasions,theystaredatmeandsaiditwasstrangethatheshouldhavecomeandgoneastheysawnothingofhim。

  Onmyspeakingagainofthematter,Bickleyatonceturnedtheconversation,fromwhichIgatheredthathebelievedmetobesufferingfromdelusionsconsequentonmyillness,orperhapstohavetakentodreaming。Thiswasnotwonderfulsince,asI
