  BECharitablebeforewealthmaketheecovetous,andloosenotthegloryoftheMite。*IfRichesencrease,letthymindholdpacewiththem,andthinkitnotenoughtobeLiberal,butMunificent。ThoughaCupofcoldwaterfromsomehandmaynotbewithoutitsreward,yetsticknotthouforWineandOylfortheWoundsoftheDistressed,&treatthepoor,asourSaviourdidtheMultitude,tothereliquesofsomebaskets。Diffusethybeneficenceearly,andwhilethyTreasurescalltheeMaster:TheremaybeanAtroposofthyFortunesbeforethatofthyLife,andthywealthcutoffbeforethathour,whenallMenshallbepoor;fortheJusticeofDeathlooksequallyuponthedead,&CharonexpectsnomorefromAlexanderthanfromIrus。
