butstillIeasilysawwhythemaninthepaperwouldobjecttodyingtwice,topayforkillinganothermanonce。
Whentheappleswerepickedandthecabbage,beets,turnips,andpotatoeswereburied,somecorndriedinthegarretfornewmeal,pumpkinsputinthecellar,thefieldcornallhusked,andthebutcheringdone,fathersaidtheworkwasinsuchfineshape,withLaddietohelp,andtherewassomuchmorecornthanheneededforus,andthepricewassohigh,andtheturkeysdidsowell,andeverything,thathecouldpaybackwhatmotherhelpedhim,andhavequiteasumover。
