  Eversincethebeginningofman’seffectivethinkinguponthegreatproblemsaroundhim,twoantagonisticviewshaveexistedregardingthelifeofthehumanraceuponearth。Thefirstoftheseisthebeliefthatmanwascreated“inthebeginning“aperfectbeing,endowedwiththehighestmoralandintellectualpowers,butthattherecamea“fall。”and,asitsresult,theentranceintotheworldofevil,toil,sorrow,anddeath。
