opportunitytoescapethem。Prophecydeclaresthatthefirstangelwouldmakehisannouncementto\"everynation，andkindred，andtongue，andpeople。\"Thewarningofthethirdangel，whichformsapartofthesamethreefoldmessage，istobenolesswidespread。Itisrepresentedintheprophecyasbeingproclaimedwithaloudvoice，byanangelflyinginthemidstofheaven；anditwillcommandtheattentionoftheworld。
IntheissueofthecontestallChristendomwillbedividedintotwogreatclasses——thosewhokeepthecommandmentsofGodandthefaithofJesus，andthosewhoworshipthebeastandhisimageandreceivehismark。Althoughchurchandstatewillunitetheirpowertocompel\"all，bothsmallandgreat，richandpoor，freeandbond\"Revelation13:16，toreceive\"themarkofthebeast，\"yetthepeopleofGodwillnotreceiveit。TheprophetofPatmosbeholds\"themthathadgottenthevictoryoverthebeast，andoverhisimage，andoverhismark，andoverthenumberofhisname，standontheseaofglass，havingtheharpsofGod\"andsingingthesongofMosesandtheLamb。Revelation15:2，3。
